Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
Another slow week for adding books to my stack. But I’m still ok with that. Especially as I have only read one of the books on this month’s TBR, besides my ARCs that is. I only had one library hold come in, and nothing else peaked my interest enough to come home with me. I didn’t add any ARCs this week either. I have plenty to be getting on with right now so I stayed away from Netgalley and all of its shiny new books. It was also my birthday this week and I got a book!
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

Hope for the Best is the next book in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series. Even after nine books I am still enjoying this series. I love the time travel parts, that sometimes are quite hilarious, and the characters are also very lovable. The last couple of books have been a bit sad though and I am not sure this one will be any happier, but I am still looking forward to reading it.
My Birthday Book!

My wonderful son was kind enough to send me the wonderful book, A Language of Dragons. I hope to sit down and read it soon, but I have so many other books that I need to read. Oh forget all that, I don’t think I mind that I don’t have all of my TBR books read yet. I might just throw my TBR out the window and settle down in a comfy chair and read this wonderful book about dragons.
Audiobooks

While working on my Birthday Book Tag, I found this little gem on my TBR list. I had kind of forgotten about Death Under a Little Sky, but remembered that I really wanted to read it when it came out. I think part of the issue was it took my library awhile to get some copies. Well I have it now and I hope to be starting it this weekend, or Monday at the latest.

That is it for this week’s STS post. I am so excited about all of these books. I am looking forward to seeing what others have added to their stacks this week, I always find one or two to add to my TBR. Until next time…
Happy Reading. I loved Death under a Little Sky and A Language of Dragons so hope that you enjoy them too
