Happy Wednesday. I hope your week is going well so far. Mine was pretty good and kind of busy. I was able to finish four books, one was pretty short, which I was pretty happy about. It was sort of a mixed bag week with only one of the books being really outstanding and the others were just ok.

What am I currently reading?

Sounds Like Love is my current ARC that I am reading. I’ve only just started this one, but so far it is a lot of fun.

Sunrise on the Reaping is my current physical book that I am reading. It is really good so far and I am having a very hard time putting it down.

🎧 Jewel Me Twice is my current audiobook that I am just starting today. I picked this for one of my challenges as I needed a book with a heist in it. Sounds like this one will be a lot of fun.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil was good, but unfortunately I didn’t fall in love with it. It was a bit too long, and I never really connected to the characters or the story.

Plan for the Worst was funny and I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Only three more books left in the series, so hopefully I will be finishing it soon.

🎧 *Lady’s Knight was hilarious and I really enjoyed listening to this one. Loved the characters and the story.

🎧 Machine was a really short book that I found to fulfill a prompt on a challenge to read a book written in a stream of consciousness style. I had forgotten how hard it was to read these types of books and I am really glad that it was short!

What will I read next?

The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy is the first ARC I need to read for July, so there is time like the present to get started on it. I have a lot of ARCs to get through for July release dates.

How to Seal Your Own Fate is the next book in the Castle Knoll Murder series. I enjoyed the first book, but I’m not sure how this will work as a series.

My next audiobook is a complete mystery at the moment. I’m really hoping that one of my holds comes through soon as I am running out of ideas for books to listen to.
