Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going ok and that you have time to read. It has been quite the week, our weather had been all over the place with cold then hot, dry then rain. It is giving me whiplash. But the sunny warm days do makeup for all of the other wackiness. My reading has been good this week, with only one sort of meh book. I only finished three books, but I am very close to finishing another, so all is well.

What am I currently reading?

Smuggler’s Cove is my current ARC. I’m not sure exactly when it is coming out, Netgalley says July 2026, Amazon says August 2025. Goodreads has yet another date! So who knows!? I just decided to read it now while I had a break in my ARCs and so far it has been ok.

How to Seal Your Own Fate is my current library book. It is the second book in a cute cozy romance mystery series. I liked the first book, *How to Solve Your Own Murder and anticipate liking this one as well.

🎧Holy Terrors is a reread. I first read this earlier this year as an ARC and found it a bit disappointing. Mostly because I had forgotten so much from the other books. So now that I have reread everything and read the short story collection I am ready to give this one another try and hopefully really like it. So far it has been much better!

What have I recently finished reading?

*Sounds Like Love is a very sweet romance with just a touch of magical realism that I really enjoyed. I loved the characters and the romance really worked for me.

*Sunrise on the Reaping was very good. It was great to finally learn Haymitch’s story. It was just as horrible and devastating as I imagined it would be.

🎧 Jewel Me Twice was a book I picked up for one of my challenge prompts. It was a good heist story, but the romance did not work at all for me.

What will I read next?

The Irresistible Urge to Fall For Your Enemy is the next ARC I plan on reading. It is an enemies to lovers romantasy that I have heard good things about. I really like the title and hope the book is just as good.

Terrestrial History is the next library book I plan on picking up. It sounds like it will be good so fingers crossed that I enjoy it. It is a science fiction time travel story set in Scotland.

The Wedding People is my next audiobook. I have seen some really good reviews for this contemporary romance so I am looking forward to listening to it.
