WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! I was hoping that my life would be less busy this week, but then my car died. Granted my car was 20 years old, but I am still kind of sad about it. So some of my weekend was spent test driving cars and trying to find something that I like. It will be nice to have a more modern car.

Even with the car shopping I did manage to finish four books. two of them were very fast reads and I finished both in two days. The others were okay, one was a bit on the slow side. The other one was the last book in a series that had a good ending.

What am I currently reading?

Moss’d in Space is very amusing and I just adore the sentient moss/computer, Moss. I am only half way through but I am really enjoying it.

How to Cheat Your Own Death is also very fun. It is a pretty quick read, but the mystery is quite a hard one to solve.

🎧The Monsters We Make is my current audiobook that I will be starting today. It is another mystery thriller, but it is also a historical story taking place in the 1980’s and it is based on real events.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Three Hitmen and a Baby was just as much fun as the first two books in the series. I just love the characters and the story really keeps you engaged till the very end.

First Mage on the Moon was good, but the slow pace and the overly descriptive engineering aspects of the story made the book seem much longer than it was.

🎧Once a Villain was a good ending to this trilogy, but I was a little bit frustrated when the romance/ love triangle overtook the rest of the storyline.

🎧This Story Might Save Your Life is an excellent audiobook I had a really hard time putting down. It is hard to beleive this is a debut. Lots of great twists and a mystery that was hard to solve.

What will I read next?

Our Lady of Blades is the next ebook that I plan to read. I just love this author’s Greatcoat books and this one sounds like it will be a wonderful edition.

This Book Made Me Think of You should be the next library book I pick up. Still looking forward to reading this one.

Ocean: Earth’s Last Wilderness is the next audiobook I have lined up. I have been wanting to read this nonfiction book for awhile now, so I am hoping it will be a good one.
