The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! It was a crazy yet quiet weekend. I bought a new car, which I am hoping to pick up today or tomorrow. We are also in the process of purchasing a new home, which will hopefully go through sometime this week. So busy, but mostly just hanging out at home, and signing lots of paperwork.

Hanging out meant I got a lot of reading done though. I finished five books and enjoyed all of them. My current reads are good as well, although I am just starting one of them today.

What am I currently reading?

Our Lady of Blades has been excellent. I have really been enjoying being back in this world with all of its political machinations and betrayals. Some great characters in this one as well.

Wolf Worm is a book that I will be starting today. So looking forward to reading it as I have heard good things about it.

Ocean: Earth’s Last Wilderness is my current audiobook. I have been enjoying it and learning a lot about the ocean and the animals that live there.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Moss’d in Space was so much fun. Although I think Moss is what made the book so enjoyable for me. Otherwise it was a tad on the slow side.

How to Cheat Your Own Death was a solid addition to this series. No big surprises with the format and the mystery. It was a hard mystery to solve though which always makes me happy.

This Book Made Me Think Of You was delightful. I enjoyed the characters and all of the book references. I also liked that the romance was a quiet one. A beautiful story that I ended up loving a lot more than I thought I would.

🎧 The Monsters We Make was good. I loved the setting of a small Midwestern city in the 1980’s. The mystery was perhaps too easy to solve, but the characters were great and I enjoyed listening to the story as it unfolded.

🎧 Murder By Memory was so short but utterly fascinating and really good. I would love this to be so much longer, as I think the world building was fascinating and I would love to learn more about the ship and the characters.

What will I read next?

I think these are the three books that I will be picking up next, but depending on my mood that could change. Killer Vibes is the first ARC I need to read in June. It is the first in a new mystery series about a lazy private eye who gets in way over his head. The Midnight Show is another mystery set against 1980’s New York City comedy scene. The Knight and the Moth might be my next audiobook. It is one I meant to get to last year, but never did.

That is it for this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday. I hope the rest of your week is marvelous and that you are enjoying your reading.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!
