The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday to you all! I hope that your week has been going well. Mine has been busy with packing and sorting and taking things to the recycling centers and charity shops. Our moving day is this Friday, so I might be off line for a couple of days as we get things set up in our new home. It is an exciting yet stressful time, especially for our poor cat!

Somehow I managed to finish six books this week. Two of them were audiobooks, and one was a middle grade book that took about two hours to read, so that helped quite a bit. They were all good ones though and I am excited to share them with you.

What am I currently reading?

Our Strange Duet is my current ARC that I have only just started. I don’t really know much of anything about Phantom of the Opera, except the basics, but I am hoping that won’t hinder my enjoyment of this book.

Throw Away the Key is a mystery thriller that I am very excited to start today. It is about a CIA agent that is trying to find out what happened during a failed mission that happened during the cold war.

🎧The Devil and Mrs Gooch is an interesting story that I am struggling with a bit. There are a lot of characters to juggle and at least at this writing, I’m not sure what the story is about yet. But I am only a couple of hours into this 12 hour book, so hopefully things will get better.

What have I recently finished reading?

Of Sorcery and Science is a very fun read. I loved the characters and the story was a nice mixture of science fiction and fantasy. It is this author’s first foray into YA and he did a good job. My review hopefully will be up tomorrow.

*Game of Pets was a lot of fun to read. Middle graders will love it as the main character is someone they will be able to relate to and they will love his pet axolotl as well.

*A Trade of Blood was fantastic and a really nice addition to the series. There was a pretty big ick factor in this one, even more so than the first two, but a really great mystery that had me a bit stumped.

The Outcast Mage was really good once I got into it. It also lagged a bit in places, but overall was a great epic fantasy. Looking forward to read the next book in the series when it comes out in October.

🎧The Dentist was great and I really enjoyed it, even though I figured out the murderer way before DS Cross did. Still there was a great twist at the end and I really enjoyed the characters as well.

🎧Cursed was even better than the first book in the series. I am really enjoying this urban fantasy and really hope I can read the next one soon. The audiobooks are great with a really good reader.

What will I read next?

We Already Dug the Grave is the next ARC I need to read. This one has a pretty good premise and some good reviews, so hopefully it will be one that I will enjoy.

Hot Girl Murder Club is my next library book. I have read a couple of books by this author before and thought they were pretty good. Hopefully this one will be just as good.

I, Robot will be the next audiobook I will listen to. I don’t think I have read this one before, but even if I did it was probably a really long time ago and I don’t remember any of it.

That is it for this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday. I hope the rest of your week is marvelous and that you are enjoying your reading.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!
