Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope that your week is going well. Mine has been a bit busy, but I still found time to read. I only finished three books this week, mostly because they were all on the longer side. But they were all very good.
What am I currently reading?
Grim Folk Tale is the fourth book in The Unorthodox Chronicles. I have enjoyed this urban fantasy series and so far this one is just as good as the others.
Piper at the Gates of Dusk is the first in a new series set in the world of Chaos Walking. It has been fun being back in this world and seeing how things have changed since the first series.
Earthbound is the final book in the Faebound series. So far it is really good and I am enjoying the audiobook. Not sure where the story is going but I think it will be quite the epic ending.
What have I recently finished reading?
Backwoods Banshee was a wonderful addition to this fabulous urban fantasy series. I really enjoyed this one and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. I hope to have my review done for tomorrow’s post.
Kiss Slay Replay was a lot of fun. The author managed to poke fun at both horror stories and time loops. Loved the characters and the story, but could have done without all of the gruesome eye stuff.
Clanlands was a lot of fun to listen to. The actors know how to tell a good story, but I would have liked a bit more history and maybe a little less talk about the TV show.
What will I read next?
Monsters of Ohio will be the first ARC I tackle for October. So looking forward to reading this one as I always enjoy this author’s work.
The Locked Door will be my first book by this author. Not sure why I’ve never picked one of her books up, but there is never a better time than the present to start.
To Dream in Darkness is my next audiobook. I just love that cover and I am hoping that the story is just as beautiful.
