The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday everyone. It’s been a busy one for me with lots of things going on. This mostly meant that I didn’t have as much time for reading as I would have liked. But I still managed to get a few books done. And Luckily they were all really good.

What am I currently reading?

A Destiny So Cruel is good, but maybe a little on the slow side. I’m almost done with it and I am anticipating an ending that might be bittersweet at this point.

Jenny Will Eat You Now is a book that I have just started. So far it is good. Hopefully it will be a fun one to read right before Halloween.

Into Shadow Collection is another original short story collection from Amazon. For some reason they don’t seem to have a cover for the whole selection, or at least I can’t find it. So I am just going to use this one. I’ll be starting this one today. There are some really good authors in this one that I’m excited to read.

What have I recently finished reading?

A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic was so cozy and cute, I loved it! I enjoyed the characters and the baking competition. I might even try one or two of the recipes in the back.

The Last Gifts of the Universe was a fun story. Loved the cat and the other characters too. Was a little slow moving but a solid space adventure.

The Knave and the Moon was an excellent end to this duology. I loved the journey that the characters took and the ending was beautiful.

Doomsdate was hilarious and I really enjoyed the characters, especially Everett and his cat, Chicken. Lots of fun with this one, but it is perhaps too long.

What will I read next?

Rising Thunder is the next ARC I need to read. I am really looking forward to reading this prequel to the Scythe series.

Heir is a book I had planned on reading back when it came out in 2024, but never got around to it. Now that the sequel has come out, I think it’s the perfect time to finally pick this one up.

The Story of Birds is the next nonfiction book I plan on reading. I have always enjoyed watching birds, so this one sounds like it would be something that I will enjoy.
