My November 2026 TBR

Oh, my! How did it get to be November already?! Well I am enjoying the cold crisp days, which is always a good excuse to curl up with a good book. As the year winds down, I am working on finishing my challenges and ARCs for the year. My TBR is a bit shorter this month with only six books, but I am leaving myself lots of room to just pick up whatever books catch my eye or shows up from all of my holds at the library.

ARCs I need to read

Rising Thunder is a prequel to the Arc of a Scythe series which I just loved when I read it. I am looking forward to learning about the beginnings of the Scythes in this dystopian future where no one ever dies. This comes out December 1st.

Emperor’s Dragon is the final book in the Soulbound Saga. I have really enjoyed this series and I am a bit sad that it is ending, but I am looking forward to see what happens to all of the characters. The publication date is December 8th.

The Shadows of Kensington Gore is the second book in the Stockingham & Pike Mystery series. I just adore this unusual detective duo and I am really looking forward to reading their next mystery adventure. This will be available on January 12, 2027.

Other books I plan to read

The Girl in the Lake is the third book in the Holmes, Margaret and Poe series. This has been a very fun mystery series so far. This one will also count for one of my challenges.

This Will Be Fun is a book I have added to the list for another one of my challenges. I kept seeing the second book, which would also have worked for the prompt, but could tell that I needed to start at the beginning. This is a cozy romantasy about a what happens to a group of heroes after they save the world.

The Story of Birds is my nonfiction pick for the month. I have always loved watching birds and I am very intrigued about their dinosaur origins. I’ve seen good things about this one, so hopefully it will be a fun one to listen to.

Well that is at least some of the books I plan on reading this month. I think it is a nice mix of different genres and most of them are sure to be entertaining. I’m looking forward to seeing what others are planning on reading as the year is winding down. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
