Prompt: Nature
About this picture:
Well hello Banana Slug! This one looks more like a rotting banana than the more traditional yellow ones, but I was still surprised to see him outside of the temperate rainforest on the coast. I have actually seen quite a few on my daily woodland walks since I moved. The woods are near the lake and are pretty wet, so that must be why they hang out here, This guy was pretty big, I’m guessing sixish inches, but they can grow up to 10 inches. I do watch my step when I’m walking though, you really don’t want to step on one of these. It’s pretty gross and they make a mess of your shoes or bare feet, don’t ask how I know about the feet. 🤣
