A review for the nonfiction book A Field Guide to the Apocalypse by Athena Aktipis. This is a very informative book about how to prepare for those unexpected disasters that could come at anytime. It also has information about how historically disasters have shaped our lives and our world.

A monthly tag that I have been doing this year. Basically you pick some books that the covers match that month’s birthstone. This month we have the pearl as the birthstone, even though it really isn’t a stone. Instead of featuring white book covers though, I decided to showcase books with pearls on the cover.

While I really enjoyed this slow burn enemies to lovers romance, it won’t be for everyone. Some of the language and the bawdy jokes will turn people off. But it is an excellent romance and I loved the characters and the overall plot. It is overall a fun book that you should give a chance.
