As of 9:24 last night it is officially summer here in the Pacific Northwest, even if the weather is not cooperating with that fact.  I still have a week before my summer vacation starts, but I thought today would be a good day to talk about the books I’m most looking forward to reading this summer.  This is a list of books that were released earlier this year, but I haven’t read yet and one’s I’m anticipating their release.

My Summer reads

These are the books I’ve bought this year that I’m really looking forward to reading this summer.  There are more, but I’ve limited myself to these top five.

I already mentioned these three on Sunday.  All three are by authors I love and I am really looking forward to sitting down and enjoying them.

YorkThe Edge of Everything

I don’t know anything about the authors, I don’t think I’ve read anything from them before, but there is something about these two books that speak to me, especially the cover of York.

My Summer reads (1)

These are three books I can’t seem to score ARC’s for but I really want to read when they come out.

All come out in July and all of them are the third and I think final books in the series.

These are the books I’ve managed to get e-galleys for that I’m really anticipating reading:

So that it for now.  Like I said there are many more books, but I think these are the ones I’m really looking forward to reading.  I also have a list for audio books but I think I will save that for another day.

What are your most anticipated reads of the summer?  Leave a comment and let me know.
