WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

A Universe of Wishes is the current ARC I am reading. It is a collection of short stories by many of my favorite authors.

An Enchantment of Ravens is really good. I am liking it as much as her other book I have read.

Throne of Jade is the second book in the Temeraire series and I am enjoying it. It is my current audiobook and the narrator Simon Vance is really doing a nice job.

What did I recently finish reading?

I finished two ARC’s this week! They were both really short and quick reads. The Cousins was pretty good, had a good twist at the end. This is Not the Jess Show was okay. I liked it, I just think there could have been a bit more to it.

Killman Creek was even better than the first book. There were times when even I thought Gwen was guilty. Really kept me on the edge.

Yeah! I finally finished A Plague of Giants. I enjoyed it, although it was somewhat slow moving. I will probably hold off reading the next one for when I have plenty of time to listen to it.

What will I read next?

Again, I am just guessing here, but I think these will be the books I will pick up next.

Marion Lane and the Midnight Murder is the last ARC I have from NetGalley for the year. I might spend some time in the next week seeing if there are any other ARc’s for this year that I might be interested in reading. But I am also thinking of taking a break from NetGalley.

I need to take a little break from the StillHouse books, they are just so intense. Also, I really want to read The Library at Mount Char for Halloween.

Black Powder War is the third Temeraire Series and will be my next audiobook.

I hope that you have been having a good reading week. Any plans to read something spooky for Halloween? Let me know in the comments.

  1. I have read Stillhouse Lake and Killman Creek and really enjoyed them! I have heard a couple of times it’s best to stop it there, so I am not sure I will read on in that series.
