Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
It has been a couple of weeks since I did my last WWW Wednesday post and I have read a lot of books since then, but I am just going to stick with what I have read since last Wednesday.
What am I currently reading?
Valiant is the second book in the Modern Tale of Faerie and even though I am liking it, I think the first book was better. I wasn’t really aware that this wasn’t a continuation of the first book, so that may be part of the reason.
Black Powder War is the third book in this series, and I am enjoying it as much as the first two. I just realized that there are nine books in this series, so I will be at it for awhile.
A Torch Against the night is my current audiobook. I started rereading this series in preparation of the last book that comes out in a few weeks. I am still really enjoying the first two books. The third book was not my favorite but maybe a second read will help. I just hope the series ends well.
What did I recently finish reading?
Slay was pretty good, just not as funny as I was anticipating it to be. Still I liked the characters and the plot was pretty interesting.
Deadly Education is hard to describe. It was good although it was a little hard to get into at first, but once you do, it is one hell of a ride. I am going to try and have a review up tomorrow.
An Ember in the Ashes was my most recent audiobook, which I loved. The two narrators do a great job portraying Elias and Laia. This is still my favorite book in the series.
What will I read next?
Marion Lane and the Midnight Murder is the last ARC I need to read for 2020, so that will be up next.
The Other Side of the Sky is one I have been patiently waiting for from my library and I was so thrilled to finally get it, until I saw how long it is. Kidding. I am still looking forward to reading this one.
A Reaper at the Gates will be my next audiobook. I just love this cover! I think it is the UK one and I think it is so much better than the current US one. I haven’t mentioned it in awhile, but I really hate the current US covers, especially this book’s cover. (I hated it so much I didn’t buy a copy even though I have the first two). I hope I like this better this time around.

Well that is my reading week. How was yours? What are you planning on reading next?
Very interesting titles and lovely book covers! I’m taking note of some of these!
