Well this has been a busy week. It is hard to believe that November is half over already. I still have lots of books to read before the end of the year though.

What am I currently reading?

Slay on Tour is the second book in a series. The first one was pretty good, just not as funny as I thought it would be. This one is looking to be pretty good too.

Gods Behaving Badly, boy are they ever. Pretty funny so far.

A Torch Against the Night is a reread and my current audiobook. Still really enjoying it and really glad I decided to reread it. I had forgotten so much in this series.

What did I recently finish reading?

Marion Lane and the Midnight Murder was a pretty good murder mystery set in London in 1958. It is kind of like James Bond meets Miss Marple, but a really good read.

Black Powder War is the third book in the Temeraire series. I am still really enjoying this series and love the alternate history.

Valiant was good. I did enjoy it, although I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t continue the story from the first book.

What will I read next?

The first two will definitely be next. The third book is a bit of a toss up right now, as I have a few books coming from the library hopefully soon, and Holly Black’s book come out next week and I have it on order, so fingers crossed I will have time to read it when I get it.
