WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I haven’t posted one of these for a couple of weeks, so I was tempted to include all of the books that I have read since the last one, but decided to refrain myself. This has been a pretty good reading week with lots of good books to talk about.

The Devil You Know is the second book in the Mercenary Librarians series and my current ARC. I enjoyed the first book, Deal with the Devil. Lots of romance mixed into a post apocalyptic world. So far I am enjoying this one as well.

An Unexpected Peril is the sixth book in the Veronica Speedwell series. There is at least one more after this one which comes out next year, but I hope it won’t be the last. I so enjoy this series!

Finally I have started Impostors! I decided to try the audiobook and so far I am enjoying it although I have really only listened to a tiny bit so far.

I have so enjoyed the MurderBot books that I decided to pick up one of Martha Wells other series. The Cloud Roads is the first book in a high fantasy series, Books of the Raksura. It was an amazing book, the world building was phenomenal and I loved the characters and the story. I will be picking up the other books when I get some extra time.

Proof of Guilt is an Inspector Rutledge mystery which was very good. I really enjoy these historical mysteries and hope to read more of these soon as well. This one has been sitting on my physical TBR shelf for awhile and I am glad I finally got around to it.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban is of course a reread. I found myself without something to listen to as I waited for Impostors to become available and just decided that this one would be perfect. I love Jim Dale’s narration of this series!

Once I am done with my current ARC I will pretty much be done with the ones that come out in August. Even though I have five ARCs that I need to read for September and should get started on those, I really really want to read Vespertine, so that is my plan! I can’t wait to read this!

The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is another book I have been wanting to read for a while. I really enjoyed his last book, The Devil and the Dark Water, and have heard really good things about this one, so I am pretty excited about finally getting this one done.

As long as things go as planned and I continue to enjoy the audiobook, then I will listen to Shatter City, the next in the Imposter series.

I hope you are having a good reading week as well. What are you currently reading? Leave me comment and tell me about it!
