The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. It was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy@Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
I had a lot of fun checking in on other blogs during this last week’s hop. Everyone had such interesting answers to the prompt. This week’s prompt has to do with writing reviews!
On average, how long does it take you to write a review?
I haven’t really ever thought about this, but I think on average it takes me 30 minutes to actually write a review. But that of course doesn’t include all of the time I have been thinking about what I want to write before I actually sit down and do it. Usually about half way through a book I start thinking about what I will say about it, and then when I am done I will spend a day or so musing about it and getting my thoughts and feelings down. But the actual writing I would say doesn’t take very long.
Now just a quick note about last week’s prompt. I mentioned that I was going to be watching a virtual event this week with Tracy Wolff and I just wanted to say that it was wonderful. I love listening to authors and how they create their stories! I am really looking forward to getting my copy of Court soon!
Glad that your virtual event was good. Virtual events do make it easier for more people to see authors.
