WWW Wednesday

Well the last week of April has been pretty busy, but I have managed to keep up with my reading, barely! I haven’t had much time for listening to my audiobooks the last couple of days, but I hope to make up for that this weekend.

What am I currently reading?

City of Orange is very interesting so far. Not sure where this is going, but I am happy to go along for the ride!

I know I said last week that I was going to pick up something else next, but I was more in the mood for something funny, so I decided to pick up The Meal of Fortune. So far it has been amusing and I am enjoying it.

Peace Talks is number 16 in the Dresden Files series. Just one more to go after this. Hopefully by the time I finish that one, there will be news about the next one.

What did I recently finish reading?

Skandar and the Unicorn Thief was a fun middle grade story with a different take of unicorns. I really enjoyed it for the most part, though there were some issues.

Horror Hotel was a lot of fun and creepy short novel about a certain haunted hotel in LA. I enjoyed the characters and the story quite a bit.

Skin Game was great with lots of characters from other books in the series making a come back. I loved that Michael was able to come back and help Harry in this one. Lots of plot twists that I didn’t see coming.

What will I read next?

Amongst Our Weapons is the next book in the Rivers of London series and I hope it is coming soon from the library.

Only a Monster needs to be my next book as it has to go back to the library soon. Hopefully I will be in the mood for it this time.

Battle Ground is the last published Dresden File story. I am looking forward to it as well as being done with the series for now.
