The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
It has been a little bit of a crazy but fun week. I was able to get lots of reading in around the craziness. We went for a short hike to one of the best waterfalls near my house. Snoqualmie falls gets all of the hype, but I think Twins Falls is prettier. It’s a steep walk to get there, but worth it.

Lots of good books were read this week. I am now on track for my Goodreads goal as well, which I am excited about. I am a little worried because I have some long books coming up on my TBR but I still think I can make my goal!
What am I currently reading?

All the Dark Places is my current arc. The writing started off a bit rough, but seems to be getting better. The mystery is pretty good so far and I am liking the characters.
Angels in the Moonlight is a prequel to the Dublin Trilogy. It is all about Detective Bunny McGarry. I am only a couple of chapters in but so far I am enjoying it.
Threadneedle is my current audiobook and I am starting it today. I have been looking forward to this one for awhile and am finally glad that I get to read it.
What have I recently finished reading?

Dolphin Junction is a collection of short stories by the author of the Slough House series. There were some really good ones in here, a couple of them were kind of scary/creepy, oh my gosh I never saw that coming, kind of stories which I really enjoyed.
The American Roommate Experiment started off pretty good, but I lost interest about half way through. It just took way too long for these two to get out of their heads and into a relationship. They were also a bit too whiny about it as well.
The List was a very short novella (really a short story) that is part of the Slough House series. I somehow missed these novellas when I was reading the series so I am now catching up on them. This was a good one, that gives some insight into one of the characters and plotlines of book three.
Home Before Dark was really good. The end was a bit of a shocker. I thought we were done at one point with everything resolved and then there was this twist, that totally threw everything you thought you knew out the window.
The Archive of the Forgotten was good, but maybe a tad slow. I still really enjoyed the characters and really like the concept of what happens to books when the author gives up on them or they go out of print.
What will I read next?

These are my best guesses as to what I might be reading next, but I really don’t know for sure for some of them. It will depend on my mood and if it is available. These are definitely subject to change.
I have a lot of ARC’s lined up for January on NetGalley, so I think I will get started on them next. The Thing in the Snow title and cover caught my eye and it sounds really interesting.
Chasing the Boogeyman is mostly fiction with some facts thrown into the mix. It sounds really good and I almost picked it up this week, but decided I wasn’t quite in the mood yet.
I am really hoping to listen to The God of Lost Words next, but I don’t know if it will be available when I am done with my current audiobook. If it isn’t ready I’m not sure what I will be picking up instead.

That is my reading for this week. I hope you have all been having a fantastic reading week. Until next time, Happy Reading!
