The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I hope everyone had a wonderful week of reading and enjoyed any holidays that might have celebrated. For those of you affected by the crazy winter storm that has blazed across the US I hope that you are safe and warm and with the ones you love.
My week was only mildly affected by the storm. Mostly I was unable to leave the house because of a small ice issue, but that is over now and things have much improved. (I could have gone out but chose not to because people here don’t know how to drive in the snow and ice.) But the weather keeping me inside also means that I had lots of time for reading! I managed to get 4 books read this week and they were all pretty good ones. Let’s take a look!
What am I currently reading?

The Twist of a Knife is the fourth book in the Hawthorne and Horowitz Investigate series. I have just started this one but I am sure it will be just as good as the others.
Belladonna is really good, I am almost done with it and hope to finish it either today or tomorrow. It is a nice gothic mystery that so far has me a bit stumped.
These Broken Stars is my current audiobook and another one that I am pretty close to finishing. I have enjoyed this enemies to lovers (? not sure about this yet) science fiction story by two of my favorite authors.
What have I recently finished reading?

Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone was such a good read and a really hard one to put down. I should have a review finished for next week. If you like funny yet dark mysteries this is one you should have on your radar.
Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun is the third book in this hilarious mystery series. This is my last ARC that I had to read this month for January and I really enjoyed it.
Charm was really good and I really enjoyed seeing Grace and Hudson’s relationship from both points of view. Hudson is such an interesting character and watching his and Grace’s relationship bloom was so much fun. This was also a book that is going to set up the next one nicely.
In Every Generation was better than I expected. It had a lot of the snark and quirky characters that I loved from the original movie, but with a modern twist and lots of new quirky characters. Might have enjoyed it a bit more if I was a fan of the Buffy world, so those of you who are will probably love it.
What will I read next?
Sorry, but I’ve got nothing. I kind of really don’t know what I will read next. A lot of it will depend on what shows up at the library from my holds, what I might find when I go to pick up those holds and what I am in the mood for. I just really can’t say right now what that might be. Kind of scary not knowing but kind of fun to!
I hope you enjoy Twist of a Knife. I thought it was one of the best in the series so far. It’s definitely good not knowing what you’re going to read next, I’m definitely a fan of mood reading.

It is a little bit scary as I usually at least have an idea of what I might read, either ARC’s or library books. But it is a little exciting as well.
