Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. IT was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy@Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s Prompt:

How many books did you read in 2022?

(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I managed to finish three more books since Wednesday when I finally reached my goal, so this is my official count for the year. It isn’t as much as last year, but I’m ok with that. It was still a good year of reading.

I haven’t totally decided on my goal for next year, but it will probably be 180 books again. With my retirement in June, I’m thinking I will have lots of time for reading the second half of the year and should make that and more by December.

The other thing I have been thinking about is using another platform besides GoodReads. I am not entirely happy with their new version. I find it even clunkier than the old one. I am thinking of trying Storygraph for a few months to see what I think. I will still keep up my account on Goodreads for now, as I do post my ARC reviews there. If any of you use Storygraph I would love to hear what you think. If you know of another reading app that you like let me know.

Well, I hope you have all had a wonderful reading year and am wishing you all a very Happy and Healthy 2023.
