Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. It was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy@Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s topic is:

Do you post every day on your blog and/or social media? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

Short answer is no. Currently I try to post at least four or five days a week on my blog. Those days are usually only Monday through Friday. Because I work almost full time I don’t have as much time to work on my blog during the week, so I mostly write my posts on the weekends. I am hoping when I retire at the end of the school year, I will find more time to write reviews and posts during the week, so hopefully that will lead to more posts.

As for social media, even though I do have both a twitter and instagram account I rarely post on them. I gave up on twitter years ago and really should just delete my profile. But just don’t think about it until I am asked about my social media presence.

As for instagram, I do look at it quite a bit and really enjoy other people’s posts and videos. I mostly look at funny cat videos, they are just so adorable I can’t resist them. And then I do follow some authors on there as well. I do post pictures every once and awhile, but I kinda find it hard to use. Especially when I want to post short videos I’ve made using my phone’s camera app. I haven’t tried making a reel as that just doesn’t come to mind when I am thinking of doing a video. I thought about posting a picture a day, but my life just isn’t that interesting. Maybe someday!

Well that ended up being a longer post than I thought it would be when I started out! I can’t wait to see what other people have to say.
