I just love daffodils, which are in full bloom in my neighborhood. They are always such a bright spot especially on dreary days, and they always make me smile.
March was a very good reading month for me. I read all of the books I had planned on reading, plus more, and for the most part they were all really good. I read 15 books and two novellas, which I am counting as one book, for a total of 16 books. I think that is my highest of the year.
Let’s take a look back at all of these wonderful books.

Something Fishy This Way Comes was my only disappointment this month. And it wasn’t really all that bad, just was missing something that made it really work for me.
Arrested Adolescence (ARC) was a non-fiction biography I read that was really good.
Never Never, part 1 and 2 were the novellas I read. I am still patiently waiting for the third part from the library. I really want to know how it ends!
The Death of the Necromancer was really good and an audiobook that I really enjoyed. There is one more book I think in the series that I will have to pick up soon.

Red Team Blues (ARC) was an excellent and fun read. I really enjoyed the plot although it did get a bit techie at times.
Bullet Train was also good, although very different from the movie, especially the ending. No big train crash!
And There He Kept Her was a really good thriller that I practically finished in one day. It was really hard to put down.
Just One Damned Thing After Another was such fun. I really liked the time travel and the characters were a lot of fun.

The Last Word (ARC) was a book that was really hard to put down. The twists and the edge of your seat action really makes you want to keep going till the end.
The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant was a really fast and fun read. I enjoyed this different take on vampires.
No Surrender was a middle grade book that was a lot of fun. I really enjoy this author’s work, both for kids and adults.
The Isles of the Gods (ARC) was also an excellent read and the start of a new duology. I liked the characters and the world building was perfect.

Smoke and Whispers was such an intriguing book that had two mysteries going at the same time. It was a hard one to put down.
Beautiful Creatures was a bit long but I still really enjoyed it. I loved the added sound effects and music added to the audiobook. The narrator was also good and someone I will be adding to my list of readers I like.
Titanium Noir (ARC) was a very interesting mix of 30’s film noir and science fiction. It also had some interesting characters and plot twists.
Daisy Jones and the Six was not at all what I was expecting, but I really enjoyed it. I am thinking of watching the new Amazon show, but still haven’t decided for sure yet.

I really enjoy writing these posts. It is always fun to look back at the books I have read and remind myself how much I enjoyed them. Hopefully April will be a good reading month as well.
Congrats on a great reading month and totally agree about daffodils ♥️
