Today is Thursday and a perfect day for a Book Tag. I saw this on Dinipandareads last week and thought it would be a lot of fun to do. This original tag was created by Roisin @Roisin’s Reading over on BookTube.
How many books have you read so far?

It maybe would have been nice to have a round 50 at this point, but I am glad that I am currently ahead of my goal.
Have you found a book that you think might be a 2023 favorite?

I have read many good books so far this year, but I think these are my top contenders for the year right now.
Any least favorite book of the year?

This was my least favorite book so far this year. The premise was good, but I never connected with the characters and the mystery was too easy to guess.
Most read genre?

Not a big surprise there. I have really been on a mystery/thriller binge for awhile now. But I think I might start leaning back toward fantasy pretty soon.
A book that surprised me?

So this was totally cheesy and not the best thing I have ever read, but I ended up really enjoying it much more than I thought I would.
A book that has come out in 2023 that I haven’t yet read?

I have been trying my damnedest to get my local library to purchase a copy of this book, but they keep telling me it isn’t available in the US yet. So how come I can buy it on amazon!? I know I should just buy it, but I know the second I do, it will pop up at my library.
One goal you made that you’re succeeding at?
I set a goal to read more non-fiction this year, and so far I have read two, which is more than I have read in the last five or so years. I hope to read at least a couple more before the end of the year.
One goal that you need to focus on?
I think the only thing that I set out to do, that I haven’t really done this year is writing more reviews. I usually only get one, sometimes two a week done, and I really want to get back to writing more of them.

This is such a fun tag. And I need to stop procrastinating on A House with Good Bones!
