WWW Wednesday

Thank goodness for three day weekends. I was able to finish 5 books this week, which is a bit of a surprise considering how busy I was. But those three day really helped. Only one more day to go and then school will be out forever! I am kind of a mess emotionally, but I will make it through, at least until the fall when it will hit me all over again.

What am I currently reading?

Paladin’s Strength is my current ebook and I am really enjoying it. It is fun to see Istvhan again and to be spending time with him.

The Sun and the Star is my current library book read and so far it is just as good as the others. I love how Nico’s grumpiness is offset by Will’s sunny disposition. I have only just started this, so not to far into the adventure yet.

Fairy Tale is my current audiobook and another really long one. Good thing I am done with work soon, so I can hopefully have time everyday to listen to this. Plus the long flight this weekend to the east coast should help.

What have I recently finished reading?

The House of Roots and Ruin was amazingly good. I just could not put it down. That ending left me breathless and wanting a sequel now!

Greymist Fair was also really good and a bit different. I hope to have a review of this one and maybe a couple of other books written soon.

The Singles Table was light and funny and just what I needed right now. I really enjoyed it and the next time I’m in the mood for a romance, I will definitely look for one by this author.

The Sea Detective was intense in some ways, and in others kind of slow moving. There were a lot of moving pieces to this book, but it all comes together in the end. I really enjoyed it.

The Pallbearers Club was also kind of weird and intense. Not sure how I feel about this one. Loved the audiobook though, with two narrators that played well off of each other.

What will I read next?

Mister Magic is the next ARC I need to read. This will be the first of five that I need to read for August. I am really looking forward to them all.

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is the last book on my June TBR that I need to read. I am looking forward to finally getting around to this one. And hopefully finishing before the end of the month.

Big Red Tequila will be my next audiobook I think. I might change my mind, or if one I have on hold becomes available I will listen to that one first. I read this a long time ago, but never finished the series. So I decided that one of my goals this summer was to do just that.

I hope our weather gets a little more summer like, even though I won’t be around next week to enjoy it. My plants could use a little bit of sunshine and warmth.
