The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! I hope that you are all have a great week. I had quite the busy weekend, but I still managed to find some time to read. My son was visiting from California and it is always a lot of fun to see him and spend time with all of us together. It was mostly my audiobook that suffered, but also some of my other reading, especially the book I read right before bed. I was just too tired to read very much. Also, Malice of Waves was just so good, that I really wanted to read that instead of anything else! But somehow I still managed to finish four books.

What am I currently reading?

The Perils of Lady Catherine de Bourgh is the ARC that I am currently reading. In fact I am starting it today, so don’t have much to say yet. But I am sure it will be just as fun as the other books in the series.

The Prisoner’s Throne is so far very good. I haven’t gotten very far with it yet, but I am enjoying what little I have read so far.

The Republic of Thieves is still my current audiobook. It is super long (24 hours) and I just didn’t have time over the weekend to spend listening to it. But that is ok. I am really enjoying it when I do have the time.

What have I recently finished reading?

Icon and Inferno was a lot of fun. I loved the dynamic between Winter and Sydney and how that was developed over the course of the book. I did have some issues with the plot, but hopefully those were smoothed out in the final edit.

The Malice of Waves was an excellent mystery that had me fascinated from the start. I had a hard time putting this one down until the end. I think this might be the best one from the series so far.

The Far Reaches is a collection of science fiction short stories written by many of my favorite authors. I enjoyed reading them in between some of my heavier books.

Literary Cats is a nonfiction book that I found interesting. It was a little on the dry side and more like reading someone’s dissertation, but still interesting to learn about how cats are used in literature.

What will I read next?

A Novel Love Story is the next ARC I need to read. I am so looking forward to finally picking this one up. I really enjoy this authors writing so this one should be a delight as well.

Black Sun has to be my next read. It has to go back to the library soon, and I am running out of time before the third book comes out to get this one and the second book done in time.

The New Couple in 5B might be my next audiobook, but it all depends on whether or not my hold comes through soon. If it is not this, I don’t know what it might be.

That is it for this week. I hope to get some rest this week and finish some of these books. I am a little bit behind on my TBR books for the month, mostly because I have been in a different reading mood from when I made the list. But hopefully I will be able to squeeze them in before the month is up. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
