Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend has been going well. Mine has been fine, even though the weather has been a bit sucky. But that is life in the fall here in the Pacific Northwest. I only have library books to share with you today. I picked up four holds on my weekly visit. I didn’t really look for any others to take home, as I still have three that I picked up recently. I need to start reading faster!
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

The Heart of the World is book two in *The Isle of the Gods series. I really enjoyed book one, The Isle of the Gods and am looking forward to starting this one soon.
The Lightning Bottles is a book that peaked my interest a few weeks ago. Not sure how I heard about it or where but it is a historical mystery (1990s), european road trip with a fictional rock band. Sounds interesting doesn’t it?
And the Rest is History is the next book in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series. I might not get to this one anytime soon, but I am looking forward to it.
The Black Loch is one of my most anticipated reads of the fall. This will definitely be my next read and I am so looking forward to it. This might be Peter May’s last book, but I certainly hope it won’t be.

Well that is it for me this week. I look forward to seeing what others have added to their stacks this week, I almost always find one or two books to add to my never ending TBR. I have to get back to my reading now, so until next time….
I want to read the Isle of the Gods series, heard good things. Enjoy your reads!

wow you got some nice variety in your new books there! What is the Chronicles of St. Mary’s? Historical Fiction or SFF?

St. Mary’s is a bit more science fiction as there is time travel involved. But you do learn a lot of history and the characters visit a lot of important events and people through out the books.
