The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday. I hope your week is going well so far. Mine has been pretty good. I’m getting ready to do some traveling next week, so making sure things that need to get done are done before I leave. I’m not going anywhere too exciting. Just off to visit family on the east coast for a week. But it will still be a fun week.

Reading wise I had a very good week. I finished four books, and really enjoyed all of them. I am also enjoying my current reads as well. So far March has been treating me well with many good books.

What am I currently reading?

Holy Terrors is my current ARC that I am reading. I have only just started it, but already I am having trouble putting it down.

Alibi is my current library book. I am almost finished with it, an have really found it quite interesting and a good mystery.

Girl Forgotten is the audiobook that I hopefully will be starting today, if I have the time. This is another book that I have chosen for one of my challenges. But it sounds really good.

What have I recently finished reading?

A Drop of Corruption was very good. Great mystery, fantastic world building, and I love the dynamics between the two main characters.

Loch ness Uncovered was a tad on the slow and boring side, but otherwise I learned quite a bit about how the Nessie myth started and was perpetuated through out the years.

The First State of Being was a very sweet story about friendship, anxiety and family. I loved all of the nineties nostalgia too.

Midnight in Soap Lake was really good. I loved the main character and the mystery was top notch. I also loved the air of spookiness that the whole story had.

What will I read next?

The Geographer’s Map to Romance is the next ARC that I need to read. So looking forward to reading this one as I just loved the first one in the series.

For Whom the Book Tolls is a cozy mystery that I’m reading for one of my challenges. Cozy mysteries sometimes don’t quite work for me, but I think this one will be a good one.

Mask of the Deer Woman should be my next audiobook. At least it is up next in my holds queue. I don’t remember where I first saw this book, but I just love that cover and it is a mystery with a native female detective. Sounded too good to pass up.

That is it for this week. I leave for my trip on Tuesday, but I plan on having all of my posts ready to go before I leave. Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I know what you mean about cosy mysteries not always working but I do love the cover and title of For Whom the Book Tolls so I hope it’s good. I’m getting really jealous of people who’ve read A Drop of Corruption already as I’ve got to wait for publication date. ☹️
