My October 2025 TBR

I love October with its cold brisk nights and days. We don’t get the foliage colors out here like back east, but I still love the season.

I did pretty good with last month’s TBR, as I mostly completed it. I am currently reading the last book on the list, but it is a long one and I don’t think I will have it done by the end of the month. But I’m still counting it as TBR win for the month.

October’s reads are a bit of a mixed bag, but falls heavy on the fantasy side. Still I am looking forward to reading all of these.

ARCs I need to read

A Fate so Cold is the first book in a new duology. It is a YA romantasy and it sounds fantastic. It is also by a favorite author and I just love the cover.

The House Saphir is a retelling of the fairytale Bluebeard by the author that brought us Cinder. I usually really enjoy her books so can’t wait to see how this one goes.

We Fell Apart is the third book in the We Were Liars series. I still haven’t watched the Amazon adaptation yet of the first book. Might just have to get to that one this month.

Firefox moon is the second book in this middle grade series by a favorite author. I haven’t read the first book, but I don’t think that will be a problem. Or I just might pick it up at the library.

Other books I plan to read

Hot Wax is a book I have really been excited about. It is a Mystery/Thriller/Horror, so quite a mixed bag.

Ghost Business is the second book in this romance series by a favorite author. Should be good for a cold dark autumn night.

Black Tide Son is the second book in the Winter Seas trilogy. This is a reread for me. Very much looking forward to starting this one soon.

The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels is a cozy romantasy by a favorite author. This should be a fun one to read.
