This is just a quick post just to let you all know that I survived my move. Or at least having the furniture and some of the heavy boxes, as in the boxes with the books, moved. There is still a lot of stuff left at the old house that we are slowly going through and deciding what to move and what to get rid of. It is a very tiring process, but I think it will all be worth it eventually.
As you can see from the very pretty graphic above from storygraph, I read 18 books in July. Six of them were audiobooks which helped me get through some of the stress of packing. I also read six ARCs, four of these are coming out this month and the other two in September. For the most part I enjoyed all of the books I read this month, but here are a few of my favorites.
Daggerbound was probably my all time favorite for the month. I just loved spending time with Edmond and the Dervish. They were just made for each other.
A Trade of Blood was amazing and such a good mystery. I love this series and I am really looking forward to the next book.
Cursed was perhaps my favorite audiobook this month. The story was fantastic and the narrator had a great voice. I hope to pick up the next book in this series soon.
The Outcast Mage ended up being a favorite read. It was a bit of a struggle at first to get into it, but once I did I loved it.
Ok, so that is about all my tired and stressed out brain can handle today. I am almost finished with Our Strange Duet, and hopefully I will be awake enough to write a review for Tuesday. I hope you all are having a great start to your week. Until next time…
Moving is such a tiring process, I hope you are soon settled in your new home.
