Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope things are going ok in your world. Except for the wildfire smoke that is affecting our air quality, things are fine here. We don’t have any fires nearby, but we get the smoke from everywhere that is burning. On the home front, we are mostly moved in to our new home. Still a lot of stuff at the old house, some still needs to come to the new home and the rest needs to go elsewhere. Still sorting through the detritus of twenty + years of living in the same home.
On the reading front, things have been a bit slower. I only managed to finish two books this week. My bedtime book suffered as I was often way too tired to read much before falling asleep. I hope to finish up that one in the next day or two.
What am I currently reading?

We Already Dug the Grave is the next ARC I need to read and I am just only starting it. It is a southern gothic thriller. I am pretty excited about reading this one.
Throw Away the Key is very good, but a bit on the slow moving side. I really like the main character and I am learning a lot about lock picking.
I, Robot is not at all what I was expecting, but it is really interesting. The robots are pretty interesting and I love how the author thought the future would look like.
What have I recently finished reading?

Our Strange Duet was very good, but I never really felt invested in the story. Perhaps this is because I have never seen The Phantom of the Opera, which is what this is based on. I hope to have a review up tomorrow.
The Devil and Mrs Gooch was a strange and quirky story. The plot felt a bit all over the place, but that might have been more on me than the actual story. I don’t think I was giving it the attention it deserved as I was listening to it while packing and unpacking.
What will I read next?

I’m little bit undecided about which books I will pick up next. Which ones I choose will depend on my mood. I have several good ARCs and library books to choose from right now. The only one I’m pretty sure about is 99 Ways to Die as it is next up on Libby for my audiobook. The Henchperson’s Guide to Unionizing and Hot Girl Murder Club are pretty high up on the list, but so are some others.

That is it for this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday. I hope the rest of your week is marvelous and that you are enjoying your reading.
Until next time…
I’m currently reading Valley of the Ravens by Barbara Erskine
In the last week I finished π₯
1 What Could Possibly Go Wrong by Jodi Taylor
2 Lies, Damned Lies, and History by Jodi Taylor
3 B is for Bonded by Honey Phillips
Not sure what next. Maybe a few more St Mary’s

I really enjoyed I Robot. All of Asimov’s robot books are good and I like the way that he ties them together with his three laws of robotics. The detective trilogy (Caves of Steel etc) about a human and a robot detective working together are fun and it is interesting to see how his view of the future compares with what we actually have.

I read a lot of sci fi in my youth, but I don’t think I have ever read one of Asimov’s books. I will have to check out Caves of Steel. That sounds like something I would like. I also didn’t realize that I, Robot was a series. But I do love his views of the future.

I Robot isnβt a series but all of his books about robots have some common ideas.
