Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
Happy Saturday everyone! It feels good to be home after being gone almost three weeks. I am very happy to be back using my computer to write these posts as well. My ancient ipad, (at least six years old 😉) just wasn’t cutting it when it came to blogging. It worked great last year, but this year I was encountering all sorts of issues. So forgive me if I didn’t get back to your comments or my lack of posts during my trip. It was just too frustrating some days.
One of the first things I did when I got back was go to the library. I had to return two books and pick up a hold. I also found two books to add to my stack.
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

The Fatal Unpleasantness at Netherfield is the fifth book in the Mr Darcy and Miss Tilney mystery series. I have enjoyed all of the previous novels and I’m really looking forward to this one. It will probably be my next read.
Bitterfrost is the first book in a mystery series set in Michigan. I ran across a review for the second book which sounded really good, but I decided that I needed to start at the beginning. Plus looking at that wintry cover will keep me cool in this summer heat.
The Outcast Mage was a book that I wanted to read last year, but never got around to. I tried to listen to the audiobook earlier this year, but it just wasn’t working for me. So I thought now would be a good time to give the print book a try. I have heard good things about this book and I think the sequel comes out in October, so this is a good time to pick it up.
ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account
No new ARCs this week. I am not looking to add any ARCs any time soon as I have enough books right now to keep me happy.
Audiobooks

Believe: The Untold Story Behind Ted Lasso, the Show That Kicked Its Way Into Our Hearts is my next nonfiction read. I loved this TV series and I am very much looking forward to the new one that comes out this summer. Hopefully this will be an interesting look at the origins of the series and the behind the scenes antics of the cast and crew.

Well that is it for this week’s Stacking the Shelves. Looking forward to seeing what others have added to their stacks this week. Until next time…
