While I am on vacation visiting family I thought it would be fun to talk about some books based on their settings. Here are four books set in my home state of Connecticut.

The Scholomance #2
A review for the second book in the Scholomance Trilogy. This one is just as good as the first book and in some ways better. Hell of an ending though that will leave you waiting anxiously for the next book.
Mini-Confessions
Some mini reviews for two pretty good books. The Deep by Alma Katsu is a paranormal retelling of the Titanic. Into the Water by Paula Hawkins is a dark and twisty tale of murder and suicide.

Travel Tales – Bart’s Books
While traveling in California last week I found a wonderful used book store in Ojai called Bart’s books.
