2018 in Numbers

2018 in numbers

Greetings! I thought I would start off my yearly wrap up posts with just some general statistics of what my reading and blogging looked like this year.  This will be the first of many posts where I talk about my favorite reads this year across some different genres.

GoodRead Stats!

I do try to update my reading on Goodreads, and I think I did better this year than last.  There still might be one or two books missing, but I think that it is pretty accurate.

I didn’t read quite as many books this year as I did last year, but I am ok with that.  I did try to slow down and savor the books more instead of just rushing through them to get them done.

Total read: 183

Re-reads: 23 books

Top Genres

  • Fantasy – 59 books
  • Science Fiction – 26 books
  • Middle Grade – 33 books
  • Thrillers /mysteries – 23 books

The Longest and Shortest books

  • The Priory of the Orange Tree – 848 pages
  •  All Systems Red at 144 pages.

NetGalley Stats!

I have a 92% feedback ratio.  I was given 71 books that were published in 2018 and I reviewed all of them.  I am currently working on some that are coming out January and February of 2019

My Blog Stats!

As of this post I have

  • 504 posts since I started in 2016

That is pretty much my reading year in numbers.  I hope your year was as good as mine.  Coming up in the next few days will be posts about my favorite reads of the year.
